Cancel a webinar

You can cancel a broadcast if you're unable to host the webinar or want to reschedule it. To do this follow the steps:

  1. Navigate to your webinar.

  2. Click on 'Edit webinar'.

  3. Scroll down to 'Date and time' under the 'General' tab, and click on 'Edit' > 'Cancel broadcast'.

  4. Confirm the pop-up.

Cancelling broadcasts or webinars using the cancel broadcast option

You can cancel a webinar up to 5 minutes before its scheduled time.

A canceled broadcast is no longer visible on the registration page, embed and channel.

Pop-up asking if you're certain you want to delete the broadcast

Automatic emails will no longer be sent for this broadcast. Therefore, you should immediately send a modified reminder email to inform your registrants about the canceled broadcast.

You can create this email if you go to 'Emails' > '+ New email' > 'Reminder email'. You have to send the email via the 'Send now' option because the broadcast is no longer available for planned emails.

The triggers set up for interactions will no longer be active for the canceled event.

If the registrants of your webinar click on the watch link, they will be notified about the cancelation of the webinar. The registrations should contact the host for more information.
