The bigger the number of participants, the more questions will be asked in chat. You as the presenter don’t always have the time for this and you want to focus on your presentation.
In order to manage all the incoming questions, using one or more moderators can be the perfect solution. A moderator can answer questions in both public and private chat rooms. And he/she is able to turn the chat on or off.

As a moderator you can directly answer the questions yourself, or pass them on to the presenter.
You can do this using the presenter chat. Questions that are asked more than once can be answered for all viewers by the webinar host live on screen.
This chat will only be visible to the presenter(s) and moderator(s) of the webinar, viewers won’t be able to see this private chat room.
Start new message
Click on 'Viewers' and look up the viewer you’d like to send a message. Hover your mouse over the person, a speech bubble will appear to your right. Click on the speech bubble to start a private chat with the viewer.
Banning viewers from the chat
Click on 'Viewers' and look up the viewer you’d like to ban from the chat. Hover your mouse over the person, a ban symbol will appear to your right. Click on the symbol to ban the viewer.
