To share a video during your webinar, you’ll first have to add the video to the webinar in the webinar wizard. You can read more about that here.

Sharing a video during a webinar

To share a video during your webinar, follow the steps:

  1. Open the webinar room.

  2. Navigate to the 'Content' tab in the sidebar.

  3. Click on 'Videos'. Here, a list of the videos added to your webinar will appear.

  4. Click on 'Start video' next to the video you wish to showcase.

The 'Videos' tab in the webinar room's sidebar

As soon as you press the button, the video will appear for both you and your viewers. You are not visible or audible for the viewers while the video is playing.

Once you’ve started a video, the amount of time remaining for the video to finish will be displayed below the video’s title.

The video that plays on your screen will also include the video’s sound. If you want to mute it, press the loudspeaker icon below ‘End video’. This will mute the video on your side, but not for the viewers. The viewers will still be able to hear the video.

To stop the video before it’s finished, click the ‘End video’ button. The video will immediately stop playing for both you and your viewers. If your camera and microphone were toggled on before the video injection, they will turn back on. If they were toggled off, they will stay off.

Regarding autoplay

Depending on the browser and operating system of the viewer a video injection will either start playing automatically or only start playing after the viewer clicks on a play button. When a viewer needs to start the video manually we will clearly indicate that to the viewer. After permission has been given to play/start a video, following video-injections will play automatically in most cases.
