Setting up the assessment module for your WebinarGeek webinar


Use your live, automated and on-demand webinars for assessments for educational and training purposes.

You can set criteria that your viewers must meet to pass the webinar. Add criteria for interactions, the viewing time or the evaluation form to let your viewers pass the test.

We automatically process the results for you after the webinar. You can also automatically send a successful assessment email to viewers who pass the assessment criteria. You're able to see which viewers passed, and which didn't.

Configure assessment

  1. Go to 'Edit webinar' and click on 'Interactions'

  2. Then select 'Assessment'.

  3. Click on the toggle to activate the assessment for your webinar and go to 'Add criteria'.

The criteria also works retroactively for all past viewers.

Please note! The assessment module only works for live, automated and on-demand webinars. It does not apply to replay viewers.

Viewing time

Determine the minimum time a viewer should watch the webinar. The viewer passes for this criteria when they reach the minimum viewing time.

  1. Go to 'Edit webinar' and click on 'Interactions'

  2. Click on 'Assessment'.

  3. Finally, click on the toggle to activate the assessment for your webinar and go to 'Add criteria'.

A pop-up will appear. Click on 'Viewing time' and set a minimum viewing time as a percentage or in minutes. Then select 'Save'.

In the 'Statistics', you can find the results per webinar.

Please note! The results are dynamic. It has a retroactive effect on the results if you change the criteria afterwards.

Example

You change the minimum viewing time from 60 to 50 minutes. Earlier broadcasts had a minimum viewing time of 60 minutes. After this change, the minimum viewing time for past viewers will also be 50 minutes. The viewers from previous broadcasts within this webinar who failed at first might pass after changing the criteria.

Polls

Determine a minimum number of polls that the viewer must have completed.

  1. Go to edit your webinar and click on 'Interactions'

  2. Then select 'Assessment'.

  3. Finally, click on the toggle to activate the assessment for your webinar and go to 'Add criteria'.

A pop-up will appear. Click on 'Polls' and set a minimum number of polls that the viewer must answer and press 'Save' to add the criteria.

In the 'Statistics', you can find the results per webinar.

Evaluation form

Determine whether the viewer has to complete the evaluation form after the webinar.

  1. Go to edit your webinar and click on 'Interactions'

  2. Then select 'Assessment'

  3. Click on the toggle to activate the assessment for your webinar and go to 'Add criteria'.

A pop-up will appear. Click on the 'Evaluation Form' and 'Add'. The viewer must now fill out the evaluation form to pass.

The evaluation form is only shown when you stop the webinar. If you also want to provide your viewers with the opportunity to fill in the evaluation form afterwards, you can set an e-mail reminder for this.

Quiz

Determine a minimum number of quizzes that the viewer must have completed.

It's important to know the criteria for Multiple choice quiz results. The question will only be marked correct if you have answered the exact same multiple right answers. We do not give half points if one out of two is correct.

  1. Go to edit your webinar and click on 'Interactions'

  2. Then select 'Assessment'.

  3. Finally, click on the toggle to activate the assessment for your webinar and go to 'Add criteria'.

A pop-up will appear. Click on 'Quizzes correct' and set a minimum number of quiz questions that the viewer must answer correctly and add the assessment criteria, then click 'Add' to add the criteria.

Edit or delete assessment

  1. Go to edit your webinar and click on 'Interactions'

  2. Then select 'Assessment'

  3. Next to your assessment, click on 'Options' to edit or delete the criteria.

Editing or deleting a webinar assessment

Reassessment

You can also add or delete existing assessment criteria after the webinar has ended. If the webinar already had viewers, you can opt to reassess subscribers that previously passed with the new criteria. When adding a criterion, you can tick the checkbox ‘Recalculate assessment results for viewers who passed the assessment’.

When deleting a criterion, you can also choose to reassess subscribers under ‘Options’ > ‘Remove and recalculate all assessment results’.

Alternatively, you can recalculate all assessment results using the button ‘Recalculate assessment results for all viewers’ from the 'Assessment' section when editing the webinar or from the assessment statistics.
