You can anonymize the data for all registrations or an individual registration after your webinar.
Anonymizing means all personal data is made anonymous and all information that could lead back to an individual is removed. The people you’ve anonymized won’t be included in your emails and integration triggers and the watch link for these people will be made inactive.
Please note! The registrations are only anonymized in WebinarGeek and not for third parties (connected integrations).
All subscribers
To anonymize all subscribers after your live or automated webinar, follow these steps:
Click on your webinar.
Click on 'Edit webinar'.
Scroll down to 'Dates and times' and click on 'Options' > 'Anonymize subscribers' for the broadcast you’d like to anonymize.
A pop-up will open with some information. Click on 'Anonymize all subscribers' to anonymize the broadcast or click on 'Close' to go back.
On demand subscribers
You can also anonymize all subscribers from an on demand webinar. To do so, follow these steps:
Click on your webinar.
Click on 'Options' > 'Anonymize subscribers'.
Carefully read the information in the pop-up and select “Anonymize all subscribers” to proceed.
This will affect only existing subscribers. Run anonymization again to process newly added ones. This process is irreversible.
Individual subscriber
To anonymize an individual subscriber from your webinar, follow these steps:
Click on your webinar.
Click on ‘Statistics’.
Go to the ‘Registrations’ tab and click on ‘Subscribers’.
Click on the button ‘Subscriber options’ > ‘Anonymize subscriber’.
A pop-up will open with some information. Click on 'OK' to anonymize the broadcast or click on 'Cancel' to go back.
Individual subscriber(s) in all webinars
To anonymize a subscriber from all your webinars at once, follow these steps:
Click on ‘Account’ in the top right corner.
Click 'My account'.
Go to 'Privacy and security' on the left-hand side.
Click 'Remove or anonymize email addresses'.
Enter the email address(es) whose data you want to anonymize. It is possible to enter up to 25 email addresses at once. Each email address should be on a new line without commas or other separators.
Click on the drop-down menu and select ‘Anonymize’.
Click on ‘Submit request’.
Please note! Anonymizing a subscriber from all webinars at once only works for webinars that have already taken place or on demand webinars. All updates are irreversible.
