When it comes to automated webinars, you have to add a recording. You don't have to do this immediately when you create the webinar; it can also be done later on. This way, you can already accept registrations and prepare the recording at a late date.
The following options are available when it comes to adding a recording:
Recording of a live webinar: You have a recording of a live webinar. You can opt to use this for the automated webinar. The slides and interactions that were used during the live webinar are included in the automated version.
Uploaded video: You can upload a video file and use it for your automated webinar. You can read how to upload a file in your WebinarGeek account here.
External MP4 URL: You have a pre-existing video you'd like to use. You can enter this as a Youtube link or other link, so long as this directs to a .MP4 file (preferably using x264 video and AAC audio).
HLS video: You have a pre-existing HLS video you’d like to use. You can enter the link to a HLS playlist so long as the URL contains ‘.m3u8’ and the link is https. It will not work if the link is http or ‘.m3u8’ is not present in the URL.
You don't have a recording: In this case, you have the option to create a live webinar and hold it without viewers, after which you can use the recording for the automated version. This article contains more information about this approach.
