A channel is a page where your target audience can find a list of all your webinars. It’s a great way to give your audience a good overview of what you have to offer. They have the option to register for webinars and webinar updates.
Collecting channel leads
You have the ability to allow visitors to subscribe to channel updates, in order to generate a list of your channel leads. Follow these steps:
Click 'Channels'
Select the channel you want to collect leads for
Click 'Settings'
Make sure that he switch next to 'Visitors can subscribe to webinar updates' is enabled
Visitors can subscribe to the channel through the button on the channel page.
Add channel leads to an email list
Automatically add your channel leads to your mailing list. After creating a connection with one of the available marketing tools, you can set a trigger.
Follow these steps to add channel leads to an email list in one of the available marketing tools:
Click 'Account'
Click 'Integrations'
Choose the integration you want to use
Click 'Add new trigger'
Select 'New channel lead'
Choose the desired action
Click 'Add trigger'
Send out an update email
You can send out an update email to your channel leads after adding a webinar to your channel. Follow these steps:
Click 'Channels'
Select the channel you want to send an invitation email from
Click 'Invitation emails'
Next to the webinar you want to send an email for, click 'Send email'
You can use the 'Preview email' button to see a preview of the email.
You can send an update email once per webinar. Currently, the update email cannot be edited. The email will be sent using the address noreply@webinargeek.com as sender.
Exporting channel leads
Follow these steps to export your channel leads:
Click 'Channels'
Select the channel you want to export channel leads from
Click 'Statistics'
Click 'All channel leads'
Click 'Export to CSV'
In the CSV file you’ll find the email of the lead and time of subscription. The column ‘Subscribed’ indicates if someone is still subscribed (or has unsubscribed from the channel).
Blocking channel leads
You can prevent channel visitors from subscribing to your updates by adding them to your blocklist. When email addresses and domains on your blocklist try to subscribe to your channel, they will receive the error message “Email is not on the list of invited addresses”. Here you can read how to edit your blocklist.
Existing leads will not be affected. You can remove existing channel leads in the channel statistics.
Removing channel leads
Follow these steps to remove channel leads from a channel:
Click 'Channels'
Select the channel you want to remove channel leads from
Click 'Statistics'
Click 'All channel leads'
Click the 'Unsubscribe' button next to the channel lead you want to remove
