Keep your webinars safe from unwanted eyes using the blocklist.

To keep your webinars protected from unwanted eyes, you can add email addresses and domains to your blocklist. Doing so prevents specific email addresses and domains from signing up to your webinars and receiving channel updates. When somebody on the blocklist tries to register, they will receive the error message “Email is not on the list of invited addresses”.

Follow these steps to configure your blocklist:

  1. Click 'Account' in the top right

  2. Click on 'My account'

  3. Go to 'Webinar security'

  4. Click 'Blocklist'

To add an email address or domain to your blocklist,

  1. Enter the email address or domain you want to block

  2. Choose if it's an email address or domain

  3. Click 'Block' to add it to the blocklist

To remove an email address or domain from your blocklist, click the bin icon next to it in the list.

The blocklist also blocks registrations from integrations. That means you can block people from registering for a webinar through, for example, HubSpot forms.

Configuring your WebinarGeek blocklist

Please note! Subscribers that have already received a viewing link through their registration cannot be blocked by adding them to the blocklist. Instead, you can unsubscribe or remove them as a subscriber.
