Schedule interactions (for on demand webinars)

Interactions you used during your live webinar will be used at the same moment for your on demand. But you can also schedule some more.

For automated and on demand webinars, it’s possible to plan the interactions beforehand, because it’s not a live webinar.

Prefer to use a live webinar recording? No problem. Interactions you used during the live webinar will be used at the same moment for the on demand webinar. The results of the interactions from the live webinar are not included. The results of the viewers of the on-demand webinar are shown.

These interactions can still be edited or removed, and it’s also possible to change the start time.

Pause webinar during polls and quizzes

Want to make sure your audience doesn’t miss any of your polls and/or quizzes during your on demand webinar? They can be configured so that the video pauses while they are active, prompting viewers to answer interactions before they can continue watching. The on demand webinar will remain paused until they’ve given an answer.

To set this up, you can follow these steps:

  1. Select the webinar you want to edit in the webinar overview.

  2. Click on 'Edit webinar'.

  3. Navigate to the 'Webinar' tab and click on 'Webinar page'.

  4. Toggle the ‘Viewers can scroll in the video’ setting so that it’s disabled. This setting makes it impossible for viewers to scroll through the video, forcing them to watch the entire on demand webinar without skipping any parts, and is required to use the pausing option for interactions.

  5. Now, go to ‘Interactions’ and create a new poll/quiz or edit an existing one.

  6. Enable the ‘When the interaction appears, pause the video until the viewer has answered this interaction’ setting. Once this setting has been enabled, the interaction will pause the webinar when it launches, and the webinar will only resume once the poll/quiz has been answered.

Please note! You have to set a duration for ‘Show results’ for any interactions that pause the webinar, otherwise they will not appear.
