A curent workaround for using a Whiteboard feature in your live webinars is by making use of Miro. Miro is a third-party software in which you can start a whiteboard and share your screen to show it to your live webinar audience.
Please note! Viewers can only participate in your Miro Whiteboard when they are invited through the Miro tool. More info on this can be found on their page.
Getting started with Miro
Follow these steps to incorporate the Whiteboard feature in your live webinars:
Head over to the Miro website and create a new Miro account
Create a new Miro board
Create your own content in the Miro tool
Optional: you can make use of contexts and templates to help customize and visualize your whiteboards.
For additional information on Miro, head over to their website.
Sharing the Whiteboard during your live webinar
Using the share screen feature to show your Whiteboard to your live audience:
Open up the Miro tool and navigate to your newly created Whiteboard
Invite your team members or live audience to join the Whiteboard (if necessary)
Share your screen in the live webinar room using the screen share icon and select the page which contains your Whiteboard:
