A current workaround for making use of breakout rooms for your (co-)presenters and viewers is by creating multiple webinars scheduled at the same time and redirecting them accordingly.
Using breakout rooms
Check out the steps below on how to carry this out:
Navigate to your live webinar in the webinar overview and click on the arrow next to 'View details'. From here you can click on 'Duplicate webinar':
Switch from 'Broadcast' to 'Interactive session', change the title of your 'Breakout room' webinar under 'About your webinar', set it to 'Unlisted' and schedule it at the same time as the main webinar:
From here, we can 'Create and publish' the webinar by scrolling down and clicking the grey button on the left:
Now that the new 'Breakout room' webinar is published, you can use the direct link for this webinar to share with audience. This can be done in various ways depending on your preferences:
Manually sending it through yourself or team members (this can be done beforehand or by sending it in the chat during the webinar)
You're now set and viewers will be able to click on the link and get redirected to the breakout room(s) accordingly. Don't forget to start the breakout room webinar(s) at the scheduled time!
Tip! This process can be repeated as many times as necessary when you need multiple breakout rooms for your live webinars!
