The ‘Presented by’ section on the registration page lets you show who’s on your webinar team.
By default, the ‘Presented by’ section only contains the owner of the WebinarGeek account, but team members can be added and removed whenever you want.
Please note! The ‘Presented by’ section is separate from your actual webinar team. You have to add your webinar team members in the webinar wizard’s webinar team as explained here if you want them to be able to join your webinar!
Team member profiles
Your WebinarGeek account contains a list of team member profiles. We automatically create team member profiles for all users within an account, but any other team member profiles will have to be created manually. This can be done in the registration page editor for any webinar.
Creating team member profiles
Team member profiles are saved in your account. This means that once you’ve created one, you can use it for the ‘Presented by’ section in any of your webinars.
Follow these steps to create a new team member profile:
Find your webinar in your webinar overview and click its title
Click the ‘Edit webinar’ button
Go to ‘Registration’
Click ‘Edit registration template’ or mouse over the monitor image and click ‘Edit registration page’
In the sidebar on the left, scroll down to ‘Presented by’
Click ‘Add presenters’
Click ‘Create new profile’
Fill in the team member’s information and click ‘Save’
The new team member profile has now been created and will show up in this menu in every webinar!
Editing team member profiles
There’s no need to worry if you made a mistake while creating a team member or simply need to update some information. Each team member profile can be easily edited, and the changes automatically apply to their profile for every webinar registration page. This means you don’t have to check every webinar registration page where they appear manually!
Follow these steps to edit a team member profile across all of your webinar registration pages:
Find your webinar in your webinar overview and click its title
Click the ‘Edit webinar’ button
Go to ‘Registration’
Click ‘Edit registration template’ or mouse over the monitor image and click ‘Edit registration page’
In the sidebar on the left, scroll down to ‘Presented by’
If the webinar registration page you’re editing has the team member on the list, you can use the pencil next to their name to edit their profile or click their profile picture in the preview If not, click ‘Add presenters’ and then the presenter’s profile picture.
Edit the information that should be changed and click ‘Save’
The team member’s profile has now been edited across all of your webinar registration pages.
Deleting team member profiles
If you host a lot of webinars with different teams, your team member profile list will most likely become really long. When you’ve got a team member profile that you don’t think you’ll ever use again, you can delete it from your list. Follow these steps to do that:
Find your webinar in your webinar overview and click its title
Click the ‘Edit webinar’ button
Go to ‘Registration’
Click ‘Edit registration template’ or mouse over the monitor image and click ‘Edit registration page’
In the sidebar on the left, scroll down to ‘Presented by’
Click ‘Add presenters’ and then the presenter’s profile picture
Click the garbage bin icon on the top
Click ‘Delete’
Please note! Deleting a team member profile will delete it from all of your registration pages. Only do this for team member profiles that aren’t being used in active webinars!
Options for team member profiles
Email: The team member’s email address is used to retrieve a Gravatar profile picture if one exists. Read more about Gravatar profile pictures in this article. If there is no Gravatar, the initials of the team member are shown instead. Visitors to the registration page cannot see the email address.
First name: The team member’s first name is the only required information for a team member profile. It’s shown on the registration page next to the profile picture.
Last name: The team member’s last name. Leave this empty if you don’t want to show their last name.
Role: The team member’s role in the webinar, shown below the team member’s name on the registration page.
Company: The company the team member is a part of, shown below the team member’s name on the registration page.
Profile label: A ‘tag’ that is shown next to the team member’s name on the registration page.
Social accounts: Allows you to add the team member’s social media accounts, website or email address. These are shown as buttons below the team member’s name and company/role on the registration page.
