Putting your account on hold (Pausing)

Are you temporarily not using WebinarGeek but want to keep all your valuable data and personal settings? Choose to put your account on hold instead. We’ll keep and store your account and data for a small monthly fee.

You can place your account on hold when you have a Premium plan or higher. Basic plans cannot be put on hold.

What does "on hold" mean?

  • It is a passive subscription in which you cannot create or host webinars.

  • People can sign up for your existing webinars, but not view them.

  • People can sign up for your existing paid webinars, but they cannot complete the payment process.

  • Linked integrations remain active.

  • The HubSpot add-on settings are saved.

  • You can log into your account to view all your webinars and statistics.

  • Viewing or downloading replays is not possible.

  • You will pay a small fee for data storage

‘On hold’ is a different subscription which starts after the current payment period of your active subscription ends. Until then, you can still use the functionalities of your current subscription. As long as your account is on hold, we keep all your valuable data, settings and webinars.

Please note! When switching from ‘on hold’ back to an active subscription, the most recent pricing will be used.

Change or stop an on hold subscription

You can change from ‘on hold’ back to an active subscription at any time. To do this follow the following steps:

  1. In the top right, click on 'Account'

  2. Next, click on 'Subscription' in the dropdown menu.

  3. Activate your account immediately.

Click on 'Stop' if you want to stop the on hold subscription. You will then no longer have an active subscription and your data and personal settings will be permanently deleted after a few weeks.

Canceling

It’s possible you’ll find yourself in a situation you don’t want to organize any webinars temporarily or indefinitely. That’s when canceling your WebinarGeek account makes sense.

To do this, follow the steps:

  1. In the top right, click on 'Account'

  2. Next, click on 'Subscription' in the dropdown menu.

  3. Choose 'Cancel' and finish the cancel process.

You can stop your current subscription at any given moment and keep using WebinarGeek until the end of the period you paid for.

Please note! An account without an active subscription is only kept for a limited amount of time. Your account will be permanently removed including all data and recordings afterwards.
