Upload videos for your automated or on-demand webinars right to WebinarGeek. No more hassle with external links. You can skip a step and see videos appear directly in one convenient place: your collection.

At the moment there is no limit to the number of videos you can upload, we apply a fair use policy. If a limit is introduced in the future we will always communicate this in advance.

Video page

All the recordings from your live webinars and videos you added are visible here, including recordings of deleted webinars.

Click on 'Videos' at the top of the main menu.

You can add a video and find an overview of all your recordings on this page. Each live webinar is recorded automatically. You can watch them here and/or request the download so it'll be available as an mp4 file.

You can use the uploaded videos for your on demand or automated webinars or as a video injection for your live webinar. When you use a YouTube video for your automated or on demand webinar, you'll see it on this page. This way you no longer have to use an external tool and you can control everything from your WebinarGeek account!

You can use the following file types: .mp4, .m4v, .mov, .qt, .mpg, .mpeg, .mpv, .wmv, .avi, .mkv, .flv, .webm

The maximum size of files you can upload is 5 GB.

Search or filter videos

  1. Click on 'Videos' at the top of the main menu.

  2. Search for a video using the search function or filter by type of recording.

  3. Click on 'Filter' or 'Search' at the top.

You can filter by 'Recordings', 'Uploads' and all videos.

Watch a video

  1. Click on 'Videos' at the top of the main menu.

  2. Next to the video, click the 'Options' button

  3. Finally press 'Play/View replay'.

Please note! If you are watching a live webinar recording this is your unique replay link. Do not share this link. Do you want to share the replay? Go to your webinar and share the public link or create an on demand webinar. Feel free to ask our support chat for help if you have any questions.

Download video

  1. Click on 'Videos' at the top of the main menu.

  2. Click the 'Options' button next to the video and then 'Download'. The recording will be downloaded immediately.

    Is it a live webinar recording? If so, you must first request the download. Click on 'Request download'. It can take up to 3 hours before the download is available. You will receive an email with the download link once it's available.

Please note! You can no longer download the recording if the original webinar has been deleted.

Edit video details

  1. At the top of the main menu, click on 'Videos'.

  2. Next to the video, click the 'Options' button and then 'Edit details'.

You can edit the title of your uploaded video here and set when the video was recorded. By default, the date and time is set to the time of upload.

If the video was added through an external URL, the date and time is set to the time of upload on that external URL and cannot be changed.

If you have additional users, you can indicate whether the video should also be available for member users.

Deleting a video

  1. Click on 'Videos' in the main menu.

  2. Click the 'Options' button next to the video and then 'Remove'

  3. Finally select 'Remove video permanently'.

Please note! Deleting a video is irreversible.

Are you deleting a recording of a live webinar? If so, the broadcast with statistics and the webinar will remain available. However, the replay will no longer be available.

You cannot delete a video that is used in an automated or on demand webinar. You will have to remove the video from the automated or on demand webinar first.

Webinars

  1. Click on 'Videos' at the top of the main menu.

  2. Click on 'webinar(s)' in the text 'Used in x webinar(s)' to see which webinars have used the recording.

If you want to open the webinar the recording was used in, click on the blue title of the webinar next to 'Used in x webinar(s)'.
