*Connection interrupted*. You’re right in the middle of your story, when the connection is lost. Don’t panic, breathe. A large dip in your internet connection can disconnect you from the internet. We understand that this can be very frustrating, so we made it easy for you to quickly restart your webinar.

When the connection is lost, the attendees will get a notification that says the connection was lost and the server will automatically attempt to reconnect. Rest assured, the viewers won’t be thrown out of the live webinar environment.

When you cannot get the connection to reestablish itself, because reconnecting might take to long, you can take action yourself. Try fixing your connection or use another computer if need be and restart the webinar.

Your first priority is to make sure the internet connection works again.

There are two options: resume and restart.

Resume webinar button next to restart and reset button.

Resume

Open the webinar again from the WebinarGeek environment using the orange button. Next, choose 'Resume webinar' and you should be able to continue with your presentation immediately.

By resuming the webinar, the recording of several sections of the webinar will be joined together in the replay and recording of the webinar.

Restart

Open the webinar again from the WebinarGeek environment using the orange button. Next, choose 'Restart webinar' and you should be able to continue with your presentation immediately.

Please note! By restarting the webinar, the recording of the first section will be overwritten. This part won’t be recorded in the replay or the webinar recording. This option is also useful when you accidentally started the live broadcast too early.
