You’ve finished creating the webinar and it’s finally time to promote it. Need any inspiration on how to do that? Read below!

Your own website

One of the first things we do at WebinarGeek when promoting a webinar is placing a banner on our own website. You’ve probably already put a lot of effort into attracting visitors to your website, so you should make sure that those people are aware of the webinar. This is a quick and easy win because those that are interested in your webinar are highly likely to check out your website.

Contacts in your mailing list

A popular and effective method of promoting is to use your own email list. If you’ve already segmented your mailing list, you can consider which segment you think best suits the subject of your webinar. This method typically has a good response and is relatively easy to use. The more targeted the mailing is, the better it meets the needs of your target audience, the higher your registration conversion rate will be. You can either use an exclusive email for the webinar or a smaller notification in your weekly and/or monthly newsletter.

Team up with partners

Teamwork makes the dream work! A good strategy when trying to generate more leads is partnering with other companies that you have an overlapping audience with. The challenge is to find a suitable partner and create a win-win situation that benefits both parties. Whether it be about co-presenting a webinar or highlighting a specific product, it’s a great way to reach more potential customers.

Your social media network

Using social media is a fantastic way to generate more traffic to your registration page. Not only do you promote your webinar with existing followers in this way, but it also has the potential to add their followers.

We also offer integrations with social media platforms such as Facebook. Viewers can easily register through Facebook and WebinarGeek has an integration with Facebook Pixel. This integration allows you to easily track and optimize conversions. Promoting your webinars on Facebook has never been easier.

It is also possible to share the link to your registration page directly on social media via your webinar dashboard.

Paid ads

One of the big advantages of Facebook advertising is the possibility to create a very precise target group. You can advertise by age, interests, behaviour and location. Also, if you have an email list of existing customers you can upload it to Facebook Ads to target this list or create a list with similar characteristics as your email list.

Google Ads

Google Ads also allows you to advertise in a targeted manner by using keywords and paying per click. Google AdWords even allows you to do some remarketing. When a visitor has been seen on your website, you can specifically target that same visitor again with, for example, display campaigns.
